Refund Policy

Effective Date: 8 April 2026

This Refund Policy applies to all digital products and subscriptions sold by Shim Partners Management Consultancy FZCO, processed through Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited) as Merchant of Record.

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy sets out the circumstances under which refunds will be granted.

1. Digital Subscriptions — First Purchase

If you purchase a subscription to any of our digital products for the first time and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase date. No reason is required. This applies to:

  • ClarityOS monthly and annual subscriptions
  • ClarityOS Teams subscriptions
  • reAImagine.work subscriptions
  • Any other subscription product offered through our platforms

To request a refund, contact hello@shimpartners.com with your order number (provided in your Paddle receipt). Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

2. Digital Subscriptions — Renewal Charges

If you are charged for a subscription renewal and did not intend to renew, contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge date. We will issue a full refund and cancel the subscription. Refunds for renewal charges will not be granted after 7 days from the charge date.

3. One-Time Digital Purchases

For one-time digital purchases (including digital books, reports, or standalone tools), you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase if:

  • The product did not function as described
  • You experienced a technical issue that prevented access and we were unable to resolve it within a reasonable time

We reserve the right to decline refund requests for one-time purchases where the product has been substantially accessed or downloaded.

4. Advisory and Consulting Services

Refunds for advisory engagements, coaching sessions, and consulting services are governed by the specific engagement letter or service agreement signed at the outset of the engagement. In the absence of a specific agreement, the following applies:

  • Sessions cancelled more than 48 hours in advance: full refund or credit
  • Sessions cancelled within 48 hours: 50% refund or full credit for rescheduling
  • Sessions completed: no refund
  • Retainer fees paid in advance: pro-rated refund for unused portion upon written notice of termination

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for any digital product or subscription:

  • Email hello@shimpartners.com with subject line: ‘Refund Request — [Your Order Number]’
  • Include your name, email address used for purchase, and order number (from your Paddle receipt)
  • State the reason for your refund request (optional but helpful)

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Paddle.

6. Exceptions

Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:

  • The refund window has passed
  • The request relates to a free trial or complimentary access
  • The account has been suspended or terminated due to a breach of our Terms and Conditions
  • The product was purchased at a promotional price and the promotion terms excluded refunds

7. EU Consumer Rights

For customers in the European Union: you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of purchase for digital content. By proceeding with your purchase and accessing digital content immediately, you acknowledge that you consent to the immediate performance of the contract and understand that you lose your right of withdrawal upon accessing the digital content. This does not affect your rights under Section 1 of this policy, which we provide as an additional guarantee.
